Kelly Registration Systems is pleased to announce the release of the 2007.07 enhancement of the KPRS-Gold
software.
Please be sure that
you are on version 2007.06 before continuing with this enhancement. If you have any questions concerning
installation of the update or downloading the files, please do not hesitate to

Download KPRS Gold Version 2007.07 Update
(Please note that it is recommended that you perform a
data backup prior to the installation of ANY Kprs-Gold update.)
Instructions for Downloading the KPRS-Gold Update:

Right click on the link above titled "Download KPRS Gold Version
2007_07 Update". If you are using Netscape Navigator, do not left click
on the link above. |
| 2. |
From the Menu, select "Save Link As" or "Save Target
As". |
| 3. |
When prompted, enter the user name and password supplied to you from Kelly
Registration Systems |
| 4. |
Save the file in a directory that you will be able to locate
after the initial download. Please be sure to avoid locations with spaces in the path name. |
| 5. |
Once you have selected the appropriate directory, select
"Save" |
| 6. |
If you are using Internet Explorer, select "close" after the
download is complete. |
Instructions
for Installing the Update:
| 1. |
First, please be certain that you
are currently running the previous version of the software.
To check the version number, please log into the software.
On any menu screen, the version number is visible in the lower right hand
corner of the menu.
If you still need previous enhancements, please click
here.

| 2. |
Log all users out of the software.
(They must remain out during the update procedure.)
|
| 3. |
The installation
file should already
have been downloaded from the instructions above. If not, please return to
the top of the page and download the appropriate file. |
| 4. |
From your Windows Desktop, click on “Start” and then on “Run”.
|
| 5. |
I
n the “Open” box, click on “Browse.”
|
| 6. |
To the right of the “Look In” box, you will see a down arrow.
|
| 7. |
Click that arrow, to highlight the drive where you saved the .exe file
(in step 3)
|
| 8. |
Once highlighted, click on the drive to merge it into the “look in”
box.
|
| 9. |
The contents of the white box below will change.
Continue clicking on folders as appropriate, until you can see one
specific file called, “Install_X.exe” (With X being this specific
version number)
|
| 10. |
Double
click on this file, which will take you back to the “Open” box.
The path name of the file will now be listed.
|
| 11. |
Click on
“OK” to proceed.
|
| 12. |
You will
be prompted with a box reading, “Thank you for using KPRS Gold.”
Please click “Next”.
|
| 13. |
The next
screen will ask where the program files are stored on your computer.
The default path is “C:\KPRS\Reg”.
If this is the correct path, simply click on “Finish”.
If the path name is not correct, please delete the one listed, and enter
in the appropriate path name, and then click “Finish”.

| 14. |
You will
see a status bar, indicating the percentage of files that have been installed.
|
| 15. |
When all
files have been copied to the KPRS program, you will be prompted with a message
reading “The KPRS Gold update has been successfully installed.....”
Click “OK” to complete the installation, and the program will
close |
| 16. |
Double
click on your KPRS Gold icon to access the program, and log in as usual |
| 17. |
A
restructuring process will begin. |
| 18. |
When
finished, you will be prompted with a confirmation sheet.
Please print this sheet and fax it to our office, so we may update our
records accordingly. The fax number will be listed on your confirmation sheet. |
| 19. |
Review the
Enhancement List
for information on form and fee changes
that are included in this update.. |
| 20. |
It is highly
recommended that once the update has been successfully installed, that
you locate the exe file in Microsoft Explorer and
delete the file from your hard drive |
