KPRS Gold Product Description
KPRS Gold is Kelly Registration Systems' flagship product. It consists of two
major functional areas, a registration and renewal system, and a sophisticated
and flexible set of information management and reporting tools. The registration
and renewal functions are used to create new pesticide registrations and
renewals efficiently and accurately. The management tools allow businesses to
effectively manage the registration process, while at the same time providing
easy access to up to the minute registration information in a variety of
formats.
With KPRS Gold, creating new product registrations is quick and easy. KPRS
Gold users simply enter their company and product information into the system
one time. Then they select the states in which they want to register their
pesticides. Once they have selected the states, KPRS Gold prints out a
registration packet for each state, which includes all of the necessary forms,
fee calculations, and attachments such as product labels, and MSDSs.
The first time a customer renews a pesticide registration, the system prompts
for the entry of some additional information necessary to process the
registration renewal. Once that information is entered, it will automatically
print renewal packets for all of the selected states. The system then stores the
renewal information, enabling the user to print out future renewal forms, that
can be used as a comparison against the state original documents. Often,
the KPRS-Gold system can help users notice when there is a discrepancy in the
product listing provided by the state, or discrepancies in product registration
statuses. .
KPRS Gold also includes sophisticated reporting tools that provide instant
access to the product registration information. This allows the registration
department to provide up to the minute information to other interested
departments like sales and marketing or customer service. KPRS Gold contains
reports that will help with cost analysis and track product sales information.

KPRS Registrant Features and
Benefits
KPRS Gold for Pesticide Registrants enables companies to easily create
pesticide registrations and renewals. Essentially, KPRS Gold customers enter
their company and product information into the system one time, and KPRS Gold
then uses that information to automatically create state-specific pesticide
registration or renewal forms for any of the 50 states, the District of
Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
KPRS Gold also includes advanced reporting tools that allow companies to gain
additional insight into their business.

Comprehensive Forms Database
KPRS Gold includes every standard registration form required by the 50 state pesticide registration
agencies, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. This database is updated at
least quarterly, and more often if necessary, to ensure that the registration
and renewal packages that KPRS Gold produces are in full compliance with state
requirements.

Comprehensive Database of Chemical Names
KPRS Gold includes a comprehensive listing of approximately 11,000 chemical names.
This makes it extremely easy for customers to assemble correctly spelled
ingredient listings on pesticide registration applications. The list has the
flexibility to be edited, as desired, to allow for the addition of new
ingredients.

Automatic Fee Calculation
KPRS Gold automatically calculates the state-specific fees required by each
agency for product registration. It also makes it easy to enter attendant fees,
such as late fees, penalties or associated surcharges, should they become due.
Special Local Needs, Experimental Use Products and Manufacturing Use Product
will calculate the appropriate fee based on state requirements and Section 3
registrations. The system also provides several reports that are based on fees such as the
California Mill Tax Report, Michigan Groundwater Protection Fee Report, the
Minnesota Gross Sales Report, New York Restricted Use Pesticide Report, and
Maine Dealer Sales Report.

Activity Tracking
KPRS Gold manages the registration process by tracking the status of each
registration, from pending to approved. This greatly simplifies the process of
registering multiple products in multiple states. It also allows the ability to
provide this crucial information to other departments such as sales, customer
service and marketing.

Reporting Engine
KPRS Gold includes a variety of standard, consolidated (spanning multiple
companies) and Special Local Needs reports, which utilize the
information contained in product registrations to provide companies with new
insight into their business. Some of the standard reports include:
- Products registered in a specific state, or group of states
- Products by State Matrix
- Fee by Product and State
- States in which a specific product or group of products is registered
- Products Registered Containing Specific Ingredients
- Total Fees spent by state or product during a certain period
All reports can be exported and viewed in any spreadsheet or database
program. The reports can also be printed to the Adobe Acrobat PDF Writer,
thereby creating a document that can be e-mailed while maintaining the accuracy
and integrity of the data.

Document Management
KPRS supports the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) for storage of
document images such as product labels including full graphics, EPA stamped
labels, and MSDSs in the system. Version control provides the ability to track
multiple versions of a product label and to relate them to the appropriate EPA
Stamped Approved Label. Document Management allows registrants and states to
automatically track and include all of a product's associated documents to
accurately and easily complete that product's registration or renewal. By
linking labels and MSDSs to a product, a complete registration package can be
printed from your computer without having to photocopy pages of labels and MSDS,
etc.
